Just Got Our Ohana ADR!

Today is 180 days from our first trip to WDW (yay!). We are using the quick-service dining plan, but the kids wanted to eat at Ohana for dinner. They specifically requested Ohana and specificially requested NO character meals.

I know this isn't on our plan, but since we are staying four nights but nearly five full days we will have to purchase a meal or two outside the plan anyway. I got online this morning and booked a reservation as soon as I could because I have heard they can be hard to get. We have a 5pm reservation, my DH prefers to eat heavier meals early.

But I'm a bit concerned now because I read that the music and other activities are usually after 6pm. My family is going to be disappointed if we miss out on that. Is this true?

Our recent dinner ADR was for 5:00 also. We definitely got to participate in the coconut races and other activities.

That is GREAT to hear - when I made the ADR, it only showed 5:15 as another available time. I don't know if that means the rest of the night was booked, or if it only showed the times close to when I asked.
