We are at 64 days from our arrival rate. I don't have an AP but I could buy one . . .

We are at the FT Wilderness cabins with an AAA rate right now, Oct 28th for 7 nights, checking out on Nov 4th. I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me if it's available with the Best rate and what that rate is.

I don't know if I want to wait to see if there's a general code or something for Disney Visa holders.

I am on the phone right now with CRO trying to modify my res at POFQ 10/19 - 10/23 - She has tried both codes and it is coming up on the computer that nothing is available. She has me on hold and is talking to Guest Services. She explained before she put me on hold that it may be that they have not put the rates on all the resorts, just the ones that are not filling up. A little confused because I see in above posts that others have been able to receive the FL rate and Port Orleans. Will let you know what happens.

We booked a Best rate, at WL, and I just tried to book one for my nephew and wife. We're arriving on 12/8 dept. 12/13 - Nothing available now - the alternative they offered was Fort Wilderness - So maybe Pluto4Me is on the right track. Don't know why they would offer Fort Wilderness for WL.

Yup they did it to me again when they started the best rate program I got squeezed out by the 120 day dead line they lower to 60 and I get again. Im checking in the 21 Oct.

Well this is a HUGE step in the right direction.

Unfortunately, those in the October time warp still have no "deals". Hopefully WDW does the right thing and gives something decent.

Just checked our dates for 2 hotels for 12/15 thru 12/21 thru the online method for both FL rates and Best Rates (yes, the FL rates are on the website already). A room--waterview--at POFQ with FL rates is $114/night and best rates is $109 (evidently no standard views). Woodsview at WL with FL rates is $195, while it is $185 with best rates. More than I have ever paid for either of those hotels before, and I thought December was considered value season! So the discounts for this time frame are not as good as they have been. I only paid $155 at WL for standard view in May!

I just wanted to post what I got. POR for 4 nights was $364.62 @ $109 a night + tax using the best rate program. I also checked the same thing using the FL res rates and it was $381.36. HTH

We are still trying to decide whether or not to buy a AP for our short after cruise trip in december. Would anyone be willing to check and see what the rate would be for our dates 12/4-12/7? We would prefer the Contemporary or the Poly.

Thanks for posting the change. We dropped our 3-nite total in November over $200 at AKL by using the Best Rate ($129/nite--standard) rather than AAA ($191/nite--pool view, the cheapest AAA had available). I was afraid of the Best Rate at 120 days out because things can really change in that amount of time. But with a 60-day window I feel a bit more comfortable. Sixty days can make a huge difference.

Cleophus12, can I ask what dates in November you got that BR for? My husband called this morning for 11/5 - 11/6 and got $177 for a standard view. We had really wanted a Savannah View (the rest of our trip we're DVC members at WLV), just curious????
