Just got off the phone with DVC IT person... RE member site..

I am not sure if this is the cause of the issues some have had today with the site BUT...

I could not log in this morning... it kicked me to that blasted Enter your Member ID and pin page when I went to log in... of course I no longer have my ID and PIN (but even if I did, it wouldnt help, since once that number has been asigned you cant use it again) Sooooooooooooooooo...........

I called DVC and they had an IT guy call me back.. (very very nice dude btw)

It seems... If you are logged into any other WDW site (on yours or any other computer in your house) and that 'other' log in is different than your DVC member log in (IE different screen name or even different password) the member site will pick up that your logged into the WDW system and if it doesnt MATCH the DVC member log in information, it kicks you to that blasted page.

This includes any ABC sites and all other disney owned sites.

He went on to say that currently the only way around it is to go the the Main www.waltdisneyworld.com site and log out from there... (Or in my case shut off the other computer my DD was logged in on..)

Also he said that ideally they would like to put this little tid bit of info on that blasted page, but that they are currently 'fighting' to get some really cool things added to DVC.com and that this places low on the list...

Sooooooooooooo Not sure if this will help anyone, but I know it got me in this morning... and thinking back to all the other times I have not be able to get into the dvcmember site, my DD has been online....I think for me at least, this has solved the issue (of course time is the only way to know for sure, but at least I have something I can try lol)

That makes sense. I noted recently that if I've signed on to disneyworld.com and go to dvcmembers.com, that I do not need to sign in.

I'd love to know what "really cool things" will be added to the member web site!!

You know for a split second I thought about trying to pump him to expand on the 'exciting new things' he mentioned, but opted not too.... I was just excited to know why I kept getting that blasted screen.
