I need to vent. I read about so many people getting these deals and it is frustrating to be told ---none for you. We have had ressies since Aug. for a 3 day trip in Jan. the 26th -29. We asked for a mod and got one with dining--not free dining, we always pay. I put a dep. down and paid rack rate. Still no discounts for us-- period. We are florida residents, Visa cardholders, passholders and AAA members. And Zip. Seems unfair to me. I was told to keep trying until Dec 12th, when my final payment is due, something may come up. I even had her look for a discount with 1-day ticket--not a deal--just a $200 increase to the rate I already have. Sorry whine over.

There is a room only promo as well as stay/play/dine going on now, for select nights Jan-March. You don't say which mod you're booked at, but POR came up for your dates at 30% off.

we are staying POR, but we are only staying 3 nights and don't need the tickets.

You should really consider taking the 30% off and paying OOP for 3 days of food. Run the numbers on where you plan on eating and see if that works. And, with the 30% off the room, you might come out ahead vs. paying for the DDP.

wow, I did run the numbers and figured we are spending roughly 530.00 to eat for 3 days. We never eat that much--I will rebook--room only. Thanks to all for helping me see outside the box. We always use the dining plan because it is easy. But I'm for saving 530.00 anyday.

If you eat at TS a decent amount and will be back within the next year, look into a TiW card. Passholder price is $75 and it gives you a 20% discount on TS meals for 13 months. We never considered it before but once I ran the numbers it made sense. We are in the same boat as you, FL residents, passholders, and have a the dis visa. We fave found this year we make out soooo much better with a RO discount and using the TiW card.

We're passholders, disney visa, but not florida residents. We usually visit 3-4 times per year when we have APs, and TIW for a family of 5 is WONDERFUL. Love the room only discounts and the TIW discount combined. The math is different for everyone, but this is the perfect combination for us.

thanks Babyberger and pixarmom. I will look into the TIW. We do a TS every night for dinner and we visit 6-7 times a year, so it may be worth it for us.
