Just Got Off The First Very Merrytime of 2024

Hi! How many nights was your cruise? What outfits did the characters wear each night?

We are doing a 4 night in a week and I like to coordinate for pics.

First night is the tree lighting, did they wear holiday sweaters? Christmas casual?

Second night is the Christmas party/Santa? Christmas formal?

Third is pirate.

Fourth???

Thanks!!

We just got off the fantasy double dip castaway and 1 visit to lookout cay Lookout had bohemian inspired xmas trees and decor. Castaway was dressed up but no xmas tree - apparently that's going up Monday. Pur first visit to castaway and LP both played holiday music. Our second visit was just usual music.

We have done merrytime cruises before. This one, whilst lovely, had a few differences - that could almost be called cutbacks.

No gingerbread decorating, no snow at tree lighting, no daytime deck party, but we enjoyed the new evening deck party and the music was great. For the majority of the cruise there was xmas music and characters in holiday outfits. Previously th3ybhad been in holiday attire maybe two days of the cruise (this was 6 days).

Most frustratingly the merchandise offering was very poor - although I'm guessing it's down to a delay in shipments as cups and toys and spirit jerseys were available but no t-shirts or holiday ornaments specific to merrytime. There was also no holiday merchandise on either island except for the ornaments they have year round.

We commented about how we hardly saw any officers on this cruise also.

Fantasy gingerbread house and lookout cay decor attached

We were on a four night on the Wish

Tree lighting photo attached. Not the best photo I took but it’s the one you can see their character costumes the best.

Second night was deck party, yes. I didn’t take any photos, but if you look at photos/videos from last year the costumes are the same.

Third is Pirate. Fourth was just lots of Santa and character meet and greet opportunities. No party or organized event. We saw lots of peopl le taking Christmas card photos with Santa in the grand hall in coordinating outfits, Pjs, etc. We took outfits to do so but then changed our minds kinda last minute. Regretting that now. The photo setup was really beautiful.

Thanks!! So were the characters in the same holiday outfits night 1, 2, and 4 for pictures with them? Also was Santa only night 4?

Santa was available multiple nights, but there was much more availability/more time slots on the last day.

Not sure regarding which costumes were used on which particular days, but I don't have any photos of any characters in non-Christmas outfits at any point during the cruise EXCEPT at the sail away party
