Just got my reservation at 7 months

for AKV! Thanks to all of you for your help/suggestions. I was able to get a 1BR SV (although standard view was also available). I did request Sunset Savanna, lower lever, close to lobby. I know they are just requests, but hopefully something will be met since our 2 yr old DGS is joining us. We'll see. Wait time was only 2 minutes, that was calling in at 9:08AM. Made my day

Congratulations, I'm glad you got what you wanted! Our DGC especially loved seeing all of the animals on the Sunset Savannah right from our balcony. I hope you have as good a view! The CM's at AKV are great with kids.

Congrats! We had the EXACT request for Kidani room on our trip in Sept. We got the 3rd flood on the Sunset Savanna and it was WONDERFUL!!! Our 2 yr old DD and 1 yr old DS LOVED LOVED LOVED looking at the animals off the balcony!! It was also VERY nice having her sleep on the sleeper in the living room lol. You will LOVE it!!! Congrats again!

we can't wait to stay there! We have stayed at the lodge, but never the villas. We are going to mostly use our days there just to hang out and relax, probably just hit AK while at that resort. Then we'll move on, still trying to decide on that part. Promised DGS we would stay in a "log cabin", going back and forth between the FW cabins and seeing if we can get away with saying the WL or the villas is a giant log cabin. He's only 2 1/2, so I'm leaning towards the lodge instead of the cabins.
