I am so excited. Who else is going to be there on Oct 23rd? :cool1:

That's funny, I was there last year on Oct 23rd. I don't know about the date this year, but I am going to try to go as much as possible this year!

what are HHN and EPP? we still have not purchased our US/IOA tix and we'll be there in two weeks... guess i'd best get on that! LOL!

I wish that I can get mine but there is no way that I will pay such a high price unless:

45.00 price?

That is too much I think that I may prefer to change the date to go this year.

When I saw the price ($45.00) next to my chosen date my cordless keyboard fell on the ground and my cat ran away! I am still in shock!

45.00 dollars for one HHN express ticket?

Was it like this last year and I missed the price? Anybody knows?

I think that the highest for last year was $38.00? Now it is 7 dollars more than last year. Or I am wrong!

:guilty:

Ines. Macraven, told me about the stay and scream discount. I was not going to go either, when I saw the prices that they came out with first. But, thanks to Macraven. I got both tickets hhn and, ep pass for a little less than 54 per person. :rotfl: You cannot beat that. Anyhow, umm, I am assuming that you must not be going to be in the park before the event? Maybe that is an option you should look into to get the stay and scream discount. :sunny: Anyhow, I am so excited this will be my first time going ever!! :3dglasses

Where can I find the link to buy the stay and scream discount pass with the express ticket? :confused3

Please help.... I have tickets to the park for the day and want to stay that nite for HHN. I would purchase "Stay and Scream" tickets that day at the park for $24.75 pp???

Thanks!

the cheapest way is to buy the hhn add on ticket. this is the stay and scream mentioned earlier.

you can call the toll free number to buy the hhn add on.

now i ordered mine for three nights and received them last monday.
only problem, it was the wrong order. i sent them back and they should be here soon. i bought the hhn add on and express pass plus for the hhn events.

all you need for the add on ticket is a day ticket .
then, when they are clearing out the park at 5 for ioa or 6 for universal, you go to the designated area and wait . once the park is cleared out, you get a head start on the houses and rides.
i saw on the universal calender that hhn starts at 6:30 this year. they must be expecting big crowds.

pm if you have questions or post here and someone is bound to be able to answer your questions.

Can you get a Stay and Scream Ticket if you have a one day/one park pass? Since HHN is only going to be in IOA, can you use your one day ticket at the Studio's and still "stay and scream"?

When we did stay and scream last time it was in IOA only, we waited in the Oak Tree area until the park cleared out. Where would you stay in the Studio's for stay and scream?

let me find out what i can.

i would not be surprised if parts of universal do open up for hhn if the crowds build.

i mean, how can they not have the mummy open ??? !!!!

my first thought is to go to ioa around 4:45 to get in and then go to capt america resturant for the stay and scream, assuming that is where it will be again.
ioa closes at 5, universal at 6.

i'll make a call to try to find out for you.

if anyone else here knows first hand, please post so we can help out here.

Is there a discount ticket for HHN if I was to buy a 1 day 1 park pass?

I am not sure what the add on is but $45 for HHN is kind of high. Is there a cheaper ticket I can buy I really want to go.

They have tiered the pricing for HHN this year depending on the night you go. For example here are the APH prices:

Thurs - Sun
Admission: 24.75
Express: 25.00

Friday
Admission: 37.75
Express: 35.00

Saturday
Admission: 47.75
Express: 45.00

And to totally confuse: APH admission for the first weekend is 24.75

These prices are indeed higher than previous years pricing. The stay and scream is generally in the ballpark of the APH pricing.

Just talked to Universal and the Stay and Scream pricing is:

Sun-Thurs 27.75
Friday 39.75
Saturday 49.75

Hope this helps a little!

I love the 24.75 first weekend price and Sun-Thurs - that's cheaper than usual :)

i am still checking on that question, waiting for a reply for the person that will be on a one day ticket at universal wanting to go to hhn and do the stay and scream.

guess what ......my tickets again, came today and the order was correct.
that was really fast. what i received last week was an error but got the correct ones today.
oct 7-8-9 hhn with express pass plus.

i buy the express pass and use it like insurance....... :teeth:

Stay and Scream pricing is:

Sun-Thurs 27.75
Friday 39.75
Saturday 49.75

I would suggest purchasing both at the same time so they don't have to worry about Universal verifying that a ticket was purchased.

what rides are opened....
if staying at the parks all day, and then staying for hnn until 2 in the morning surely most of the rides will be opened...

has anyone got reviews on what there like at night.

the question that was asked before was this:

the lady already has a one day one park ticket and plans to spend that day in universal side. the hhn is at the ioa side.

her question was will she be allowed in at the ioa side without purchasing another day ticket.

what i have heard is this: since ioa closes at 5, she must enter by 4:50 thru the ticket gate, show the hhn add on ticket and go to the designated stay and scream area. no other day ticket needed to be purchased.

that person needs to call universal vacations # and buy the add on for hhn.
by showing that ticket, it will allow her to enter without an additional cost.
