How were the crowds?
No crowds at all! In fact the most crowded areas were in line at the preferred restaurants. With the Free Dining in effect, that's where most of the action was. It was a walk-on most of the time for all of the rides. As usual,
Tues. Wed. and Thurs. were not too crowded at all. Busier towards the weekend. At Epcot, Soarin' was the only ride with a wait. It was a posted 60 minute wait but had the FastPass possibility. We got a fastpass, sat in the food court, enjoying the AirConditioning, and before you knew it, it was time for our Passes to Fly us right up to the front of the line. I felt pretty bad, because all of the people we passed were standing in line for about an hour.
The ride was awesome...and even though it has some warnings beforehand, it was a "breeze" No sudden drops, nothing to fear.
Much better than Pirates.......I hate to say it......I was so disappointed in the changes.....That's another story though!!
Just remember,,,,the most important thing...Unless you are a fanatic for fireworks,,,,,,leave the parks before them....Even though the parks look somewhat empty,,,,when it's time to leave after the fireworks, the people come out of the woodworks from every corner and most of them will be in your line for the Bus......trust me..... At the end of the day it's a pretty long wait and not too many people are in a Magical Mood anymore...Avoid it if you can,,,,If not,,,stick around and wait in the stores as long as possible, better than standing in a long line that doesn't move at the bus stops! ;)

Hi Goofysince71. We were there part of the time that you were. Yes the crowds were very low during the day but we found that MK and MGM were very crowded during the evening EMH.

We had CS at Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bills too. Pecos was great as always but CHH was a big letdown. We had eaten there in May and once before that and really liked the food. We didn't find it very good this time.

Glad you had a great trip. I know we sure did. If you don't mind the heat, high humidity and rain most every evening, September is a great time to go!

Hi, Scrap4u,
I agree,,It was really really hot and humid...I was takin' a break about every 15 minutes....!!
I think I got the break thing down to a science.......If there was shade,I took a break, If there was airconditioning,I took a break,,If there were drinks somewhere,I took a break....I must be getting Old!!!

I understand your disappointment with CHH......I think everyone will think I am crazy to say I felt that way about 'Ohana......The service was horrible, they almost forgot who was waiting on our tables and no one ever came back. They served the veggies and potatoes and then nothing else for at least 20 minutes.......we weren't sure if we were suppose to wait for the meat skewers so we waited,,,,but no one ever came with them..Then someone came with the sausage and turkey and asked if we wanted more and we told him we hadn't had any yet......So he left,,,,but no one else came by for another 15 minutes.........I'm sure it must have been just an off day, because I always read about people loving it.....It's just that the meats were dry and cold...and it was pretty quiet there.....Oh well,,,The Best meal was still LeCellier.....hands down......thumbs up!!!!! :thumbsup2

I know what you mean about taking breaks! We stood in the shade if we had to wait for anything. We went into lots of stores--yay shopping! And did lots of shows. Even going to the bathroom was a break since they all have a/c!

We drank lots of water and just tried to stay cool! We still think the Yachtsman Steakhouse was our best meal. Le Cellier was better than last time it we tried but still not as good as YS!
