Hi all, just wanted to do some quick reviews of our latest trip! We had a lot of rain, and I mean serious downpours, thunder and lightening, and so we prob ate a little more than we should have, just to get inside.
I do not think the Allears prices are accurate, several things we had were more expensive in person. I think Disney had recently upped all the prices on all of the food. It was really expensive, even when trying to get something small & quick. We did stop at the ChickFilA near downtown Disney twice, which was good & affordable.
Sci Fi- I highly recommend this place, but ONLY for Burgers fries & milkshakes! We LOVED them! The rest of the menu items were nothing to write home about, and the turkey sandwich was not good at all! SO go here if you want burgers fries & milkshakes they were DELICIOUS!!! I will def go back there again. Our car-mates got the reuban and seemed happy with that, and no one in our car was brave enough to try the "black bean relish" which is a side option if you do not want french fries. I think it would prob be good, but no one tried it.

The Wave- I didnt care for the menu actually, it was a little too fancy for me, but of course they have the standard burgers, and they had a spice crusted chicken salad that looked delish. We both got the Grilled chicken sandwich with arugula & tomato salad with goatcheese spread. We also got potato wedges as a side. The sandwich was huge, and came on big crunchy toasted multigrain bread YUM. DF pickied out all of the onions, but still enjoyed the sandwich. It was so big I couldnt eat many of the potatoes, I was trying to save some room for some dessert. The dessert menu was dissapointing to us. It was a menu of "trios" , they give you three little dessert shots and none of them appealed to us at all, we are chocolate people. We went with milkhakes, they were very good! So I def recommend the sandwich and milkshakes!

Ohanas-(family style all you can eat) We were walk ins, we were not able to get a reservation but with all the monsoon rains we figured we would try to pop in and see if they could squeeze us in. It was a success! We did have to wait an hour to get seated, but the bar had plenty of space. I tried the "Island Sunset" drink which was an orange frozen concotion it was awesome! My Df got the backscratcher drink which was also good, and comes with an actual wooden backscratcher in it. It was pretty funny!
We LOVED Ohanas! I cant say enough about this place. You need to make sure your REALLY hungry, and bne prepared to get messy and leave feeling totally stuffed. They started and served a warm bread that was sweet & yummy, then they just kept bringing out food. The salad had a really good honey citrus dressing, the veggies were all very good and fresh. We loved the sticky wings, I didnt care for the potstickers but DF loved them. The Lo Mein noodles were realy good, then they brought out tons of fire grilled meats. I loved the turkey, beef & shrimp, I didnt care for the pork. The shrimp were the kind you had to peel so they were a bit messy. There were three dipping sauces, they were all very good. You REALLY need to pace yourself! DF wishes he was warned not to fill up on salad, he ran out of room and had to stuff down dessert.
You MUST save room for dessert! The dessert is the best part, it was a delicious banana/vanilla bread pudding that comes with vanilla ice cream and a caramel kind of sauce, it was like crack. I was too full to eat much, but it was sooooooo good. Def make sure you save some room for the dessert!!!
My advice-go hungry & dont plan to do much after, DF advice- dont fill up on the first few things they bring, save room! This is not something you would want to do often but it was a very nice treat, we loved it.

In the parks:
Tony's Town Square- This was our worst meal while in Fl. Hands down, big waste of money and we really didnt care for the food at all! We will NEVER go back. It started off with some old stale bread, we actually asked if we could have some fresh bread, and they brought us another basket of stale bread. We both got Ceasar salads which were ok, not too bad. For dinner I got the
Grilled Pork Tenderloinn - With a Caper Pomodoro sauce and mashed potatoes. It tasted like a frozen dinner, a BAD frozen dinner. It was tough and dry and was cut into little circles, and was very much like a smartones I had tried before called "chicken medallions" or somthing like that. It was awful! The sauce was really bad. DF got the Chicken Parm it also tasted like a bad frozen dinner, on overcooked pasta with jarred sauce. There was nothing good about this meal at all, AND it was REALLY expensive! It was 59 dollars plus tax & tip we ended up spending a lot for AWFUL food. Our server was great and the table next to us was giving him a really hard time about breaking up checks & finagling there dining plan so that certain things were on certain checks so that they ended up paying for the least expensive "off plan" something, and the poor server literally had to re do their checks 4 times splitting them various ways and whatnot then a manager came out and told the table that they were not going to rearrange any more and that the plan was clear on how that was to work (??). It was quite a spectacle. They were somehow trying to manipulate the checks, I dont understand how exactly but it took over 35 minutes and our server who was very sweet was losing his mind. They also left NO TIP!!!! They told him that since they were spending a little more than planned due to the check debacle, that it was costing him his tip. The food was bad yes, but the server did a good job and literally bent over backwards for them trying to help them "work the system". I am not a dining plan user, so I dont understand what they were manipulating, but the manager came out with a firm NO, and explained what was allowed and what was not. I hope Karma catches up with them!

Epcot- We got toasted sandwiches at the Norway Bakery just before Illuminations, they were quite good! We also had some school bread which was awesome( and 1.99) and a cream horn which was not great (and 4 bucks) The sandwiches weer affordable and we got a seat t eat them that was a great spot to ewatch Illuminations
It was pouring rain so we were happy to have something hot & affordable. I got the toasted Roast beef and DF got the toasted turkey ham & cheese.

Animal Kingdom- Resterauntasaurus- no longer MCDonalds- burgers were eh, not great but fries were really good. It was a nice cool place to eat on our one hot day. The food was nothing to brag about, I dont think I would go back. And the set up is like a nightmare people all having to cross in front of one another, I saw a few dropped trays here.
Downtown Disney-
Earl Of Sandwich - this place was AWESOME! They had a great selection and it was reasonable prices. Eat outside though, it gets very hot & stuffy inside! We had the Cannonball (meatball) sandwich, The Earls Club, The Original, and a few others. We ate there several times for lunch since it was close, affordable and good. They had some great soups which were nice on the downpouring days. I really wanted to try to potato bacon soup but never got a chance only sandwich that was not a big hit was the regular BLT. Too bacony. lol. Very greasy. I DEF recommend the Meatball it was AWESOME>(which for us was all but 1 of the 8 day trip)

Ghiradelli- We got some fantastic sundaes! COuldnt even eat half of it after having lunch, and we were sharing. VERY good. Kind of expensive. It was like 9 bucks for a sundae.
