Hi,

We were at WDW for 7 days and stayed at the Coronado Springs. Had a fabulous time (except for a major clitch at the beginning with our room). Just want to thank you all for your help leading to the trip.

I'll try to answer questions if possible.

Welcome home. Is it too early to start planning your nest trip?? HaHa You have to explain your "major clitch".

Welcome Home.

How was the restaurant maya grill? Anything special you would recommend? We are thinking of trying it out the next time we are at the world :)

The major clitch was that we ended up in a smoking room for the first night while I definitely booked for a non-smoking one. We arrived to the resort shortly before midnight and were told that there were no non-smoking room for the night.

The kids (almost 5 and 6.5 yrs old) were tired and we had to stay in that room. I complained as soon as I got into the room because it smelled really bad (the smoke smell lingered on my pj the next night. Yuck!)

But we moved to a different room the next morning and had a good time. I still have to write WDW to complain about their inability to keep the reservation as requested.

Btw, I'm already into planning mode for our next trip (only it's not for Disney but out West - Calgary and Vancouver, LOL)

Ummm, never tried out the Grill, LOL. It only opens for breakfast and dinner buffet. We figured since we are not big eaters, it would cost less for us to have breakfast in the Pepper Market. For dinner, we ended up eating in the parks or in Downtown Disney.

To be honest, I am not too bowled over by the dining choices in Disney, lol, or at least with the choices that we made. Went to Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom, Les Chefs des France in EPCOT, Tony's in Magic Kingdom, Bongo's and Capt'n Jack in Downtown Disney. We enjoyed the food at the Rainforest Cafe and Tony's. The rest were just okay and nothing special, kwim? Expensive though.

We didn't plan ahead of time in terms of where to eat, so we mostly did 'walk-in'. I think with more planning ahead of time, dining at WDW would be more enjoyable.
