We just got back home today from WDW and staying offsite at WBC. I will post a better report later, but thot I'd throw this out there since I have posted a couple times during the week....just to help those about to leave or thinking about staying offsite (particularly at WBC) and our nervous about the decision.

Yes it was busy, but (and read this well) by ROPE DROPPING we were able to accomplish all we wanted!! I know rope dropping is not for all families and by getting up early it is no longer vacay...awesome. I say you gotta do what you and your family has to do. BUT, for those who don't mind rope dropping...busy or not you can accomplish all you want. When I say rope drop -- for us -- it means parking and being at the gate into the park 30-60 mins before rope drop (30-40 early for AK, 45 for HS, and 60 for MK & Epcot).

WBC -- is awesome!!!!!!!! We may never (I mean never) consider onsite -- even if it is just my and myself and they offer free dining. I liked when disney did the driving, but I LOVED it when I know I was in my room at the end of the day quicker than it took the bus to arrive let alone the drive back. I loved not having to wait on the bus in the am. The space was awesome, the pools nice, just as convenient to take mid-day breaks, bfast in the room was great (we are not big bfast people), no bugs, people were friendly, timeshare people did not hassle us, I cant' find a negative to be honest. Maybe we just got lucky, but like I said.....I am not sure we would go onsite (even if it is just 2 of us) again. I DEFINITELY KNOW that we will never stay anywhere else if going as a full family. Our view was not great, but then again as I mentioned we are rope droppers and either stayed all day or took a break and went back for late night activities..either way we did not a lot of looking out from our balcony, so the perfect view was not important to us. In fact, we had a refurbished room and would not have traded the very nice inside for the perfect view.

I hope this helps anyone looking to leave soon and already staying at WBC or considering WBC.

We used Ken Price (I know there are cheaper deals out there) and will DEFINITELY use him again. No hassles, no worries, very professional!!

Hi DisneyFlash, glad you had a great trip!

We are rope drop believers, and your post just confirms how we already like to travel! From your other post I saw that you were able to meet Elsa and Anna by 8:00 AM. Can you explain what you did to accomplish that?

We've already advised DD not to expect to meet Elsa and Anna since we heard about 4 hour waits, which we just aren't willing to do. She's disappointed (obsessed with Frozen) but she's a rational kid and understands. Would love to surprise her by adding Elsa and Anna to our plans.

Thanks!

trinchick...

I tied to pm you, then saw that did not go thru. Then tried to post reply to the thread yesterday and notice today that did not go thru. SO, evidently Im having computer issues (maybe pilot errors??) Either way, I hope this one posts.

Basically we booked ADRs (the morning of at 7am -- had tried for days before and nothing open until miraculously something opened the day of) at Crystal Palace for 830. We got in the parks early, snapped a few pics with the streets empty, checked into CP...wife and daughter snuck off for A&E and headed right back for bfast. They didn't even have to eat...the CM changed someone's ressie from 6 to 4 when we were checking in.

Good luck!
