I had Orbitz set up to notify me when ROC-MOC fares for early Dec went below $150. I've been worried that I missed the boat, and almost bought USAir tix for about $250ea. But... yesterday Obrbitz emailed me that there were tix for $88 round trip! So here what I've got on American:
Friday 12/8 1:44pm ROC - 7:22 MCO via Chicago
Wednesday 12/13 3:31pm MCO - 8:55pm ROC via Chicago

... all for the bargain-basement price of $257 for 2 tickets!

Now I just need to wait for the following to happen:
- DVC HH resale contract to pass ROFR
- DVC availability for those dates!

Wooo Hooo!

Those are great fares! Congratulations! I wish there'd be something cheap from Detroit, but we're most likely moving over the summer, and I don't know where we'll be living anyway! It makes planning any kind of WDW trip impossible! I guess I'll keep living vicariously through the DIS boards! :sunny:

zulaya - I was very surprised it was that low, too. We rarely get bargain flights out of the Rochester NY airport. I generally try to avoid flying west to go south, as going through Chicago usually adds an hour to the travel time, but for that price, I couldn't pass it up! Plus, it gets me in Orlando at 7:30pm - the closest USAir flight arrival time was 9pm, and that would have cost me over $600 for 2 tix.

$88 was the "adevertised" price on Orbitz (like those $39 Southwest prices). Then you need to add on taxes and fees. Actual cost as purchased direct from American was:
$82.78 + $45.92tax = $128.70 per person round trip. I bought 2 tickets.

I wish they would advertise the true cost, not the before-tax teaser fare! Still...a very good fare on American.

Just posted this on another thread...I could just cry!

I thought waiting for SW rates paid off for me, $740/total for 4 of us from BWI, but then I happened to stumble upon a AA flight for $435/total for us. They only con about the AA rate is that there is a 4 hour layover at MIA both ways. Oh well, no use crying over spilt milk.
