Just got cheap airfare for over July 4th on Southwest!!!

I have been watching the fairs and thought for sure it was going to cost me $400 person Round trip from Chicago. Everyday I check and the fares keep going up and up. Today I checked and they were $122 each way! I had already booked my trip there so I just rebooked the confirmation number and got a $134 credit for the 4 people on the reservation and then I booked the flight back with the credit and of course had to pay the balance. But I definitly got a great deal with the costs right now!! AKL here I come!!

It's actually kind of sad that I am excited about a $122 one way air fare to Florida!! I remember getting a ding fare 2 years ago for $37 dollars one way!!!! I don't ever remember paying this much in the last 12 years! I do not want to even think about what they will be next year!

Last year we paid $79 one way. This year we paid $124 one way.
