We have a OKW booked for Sept 24th to the 30th. When we were booking flights, we got a great deal and better flight times leaving on the 23rd. We were just going to stay near the airport, but I have wanted to try out BC for a while.

We have Glacier Canyon rented for Jan, so I emailed the guy I was renting from, and asked about BC for one night. It was available and he booked it for us. We got a 3br for one night and got a great price!

I have been seriously considering a Wyndham TS, that we would use alot at BC and the Dells, so this is going to be a nice run for both of them in the next couple of months.

If we like both places, I will scour ebay for a few weeks/months and buy a contract.

You were lucky. WBC does not book single nights unless they are "orphaned," so a one-nighter is a little unusual. I recently got a single night for a friend here on the DIS, but it's a real hit or miss proposition.

On the Wyndham contract, I'd go over to the TUG Wyndham board and see if Wisconsin Dells is one of the places where you really have to own there to get a summer reservation there. I don't know if it is or not, but I know it's very popular and it might be one of the rare ones where home resort really matters.

We bought our Wyndham contract on eBay, but there are other venues. TUG has timeshare listings and so does Redweek. Plus there are reputable brokers who resell Wyndham.

Enjoy WBC and good luck with your purchase.

Thanks. I have been reading as much as I can on Wyndham/Marriott/BlueGreen trying to make an educated decision.
