Just got back...Thoughts

The street has three portable bars, some solo dancer stages, a VW bus that has a wooden box that goes up and down with a dancer (oh wow), and several interactive dancing areas that show up on screens that are no longer entertaining to watch after 10 minutes. Several of the cast dancers get guest groups together and lead them in a dance aerobics class.

Sorry you didn't enjoy it. Can't please everyone, I guess.

Re: interactive areas that get boring after 10 minutes. We could barely drag our DGD7 away after 1/2 hour of playing with her image on the screen. I guess part of the reason is that I couldn't drag DW away from playing with it either, and she's considerably older than 7 :lmao: But that's OK; I was taking lots of pictures at the time.

And that was after DGD spent 1/2 hour line-dancing with the CMs in the street.

I thought it was great family fun! Even the teenagers and 20-somethings seemed to be having a blast with the line dancing. And I agree - no one seemed to be abusing the alcohol (at those prices, no wonder!)

I know the sounds from Screamin' could interfere with the show, but you could shut it down much closer to show time...But Silly Symphony Swings and TSMM wouldn't interfere at all. Another thought with Glow Fest. They need to start it at dusk. The main stage performance was beginning well before the sun was going down. Glow implies lighting up the night to me! DH called it lame. I'd say its "interesting".

That is what I thought too. But,TSMM was not open during WOC when we were there on Monday. At about 7:30 they closed the line and turned guests away with the explanation that it would be closed for the rest of the evening. :sad1: SSS may open back up in between normally, but it spent most of the our trip down anyway.

Disney announced they are open and I would expect that to be the case until they announce differently.

We were there yesterday, 7/21, and it was a little more crowded than we expected. And even one CM we spoke to mentioned that the crowd seemed "cranky" I think OP is right and it's tourists vs. APH. APH are great!;)

As for TSMM being open during WOC I thought I overheard a CM telling someone that the other day. Glad to know it's true (mostly).

Yesterday we didn't use any FP and only did a few rides, mostly SR. I love SR lines. I did rat out a party of 6 who were in front of us in the SR line at Indy and then hid their SR passes so they could all ride together. :confused3The CM I told was very nice about it and DD and I described them to another CM thatwas doing the loading. Without making it obvious it was us fingering them, the CM removed them from the main line and made them stand in the Single Rider line. :rotfl2: This made me happy! Why, you may ask...I love using the SR at Indy and don't want to see it elminated due to the guests who think they have found a way to trick the system. I'm sure the 6 people in front of us in the SR are still wondering how Disney knew they cheated! Maybe it was the eye of Mara, watching them!
