just got back!! aug 16 -22

$72 in free stuff from DLR is too good to pass up (that is, if you don't need the free admission).

I hesitate to disagree with Sherry since I always read her posts knowing I'll learn some great new piece of information:flower3:, but I think I will be awfully tempted by the fastpass option. I like the idea of getting multiple fastpasses for our entire family (including my DS and DN if choose the fastpass option on my DD's birthday). I will likely ask how many fastpasses we get and make the decision at that point. With two fastpasses each, I may or may not choose that option (leaning towards probably not), but if they give us four or more, I'll probably take it. Being able to get on four more rides with ease will be worth it since we only get down to DLR every couple of years.

I guess I should have been a little more specific... How do you get either the Birthday FastPass or Birthday Fun Card? Where do you go and who do you ask in order to get the freebie? Does an adult just show a driver's license?

Thanks for the help. If there is anyone else out there that has done either the FastPass or Fun Card options, please share your thoughts.

Glad you had a great time. We were there the weekend you arrived, leaving that Sun (16th). Seeing the crowds that day I was kind of glad we were!

We did the BBB for both my daughters -so x2 it was a lot of money, but I agree, so worth it. Loved, loved, loved watching them get their makeovers and seeing the photo shoot pictures.

Hopefully the OP will post pics of her daughter, but here are some of mine - DD5 was Aurora and DD3 was Jasmine!

Here's a link with the info: add the http. I can't link it because I don't have enough posts yet. disneyparks.disney.go.com/disneyparks/en_US/WhatWillYouCelebrate/disneyland/index?name=CelebrationsDLRFreeOnYourBirthdayPage

For adults you can use your drivers license, for kids it's a birth certificate.

Once we signed up on website, a birthday guest certificate was e mailed with date of birthday.

When we went to DL, we brought the birthday certificate with either passport or birth certificate to guest relations which is to the left of the turnstile once your bags are checked..They then issued us tickets which once inside the main gate of DL we needed to bring to another building right where they were giving tours. There they issued 6 fastpasses for all four of us..That was a total of 24 fastpasses..This was on Monday, August 17th which was a very busy day there! Came in very very handy! Made my DS's birthday VERY SPECIAL!

GOOD LUCK! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!:goodvibes:goodvibes
