Hi,
Just got back and wanted to let you all know while it was busy it was not like previous July/August trips I have taken, I would not call it crowded. Walked on Everest, twice walked on to Tower of Terror (less than 15 minute wait), however we did fast pass the Rockin Rollercoaster the two times we rode. It was early but not right at park opening, had trouble getting the teenagers out of bed, so I thought we would be a lot more reliant on fast passes for those rides. Waited in line at Soaring twice and it was less than 40 minutes each time. The longest line that we were in was for Toy Story Mania - it said 90 minutes but we did not wait that long. Fast passes for Big Thunder Moutain and Splash Mountain late in the afternoons worked well. No lines at Haunted Mansion or Pirates of the Caribbean, DS was absolutely pleased about this as these are his favorite rides so we did them multiple times. I have to say that this was one of my best July/August trips ever! My thought is that this is probably due to the bad economy and other peoples inability to take a vacation which makes me sad.
