I don't see a "book by" date...are they not putting these on there anymore? Do I just have to book while there are still rooms available?

Oh man...I've been planning the June trip 24-7...my family might disown me if I start burying myself in another trip itinerary

Congratulations! Which pin did you get? I agree, I don't think there's any choice but for you to plan another trip for December. How can you let a pin go unused? No way!

I just got the same pin. I was on the Disney site this morning and requested a DVD. I put in that I was interested in next May since it's the next time I'll be staying on property. This one is for this year on certain dates. The subject line says, "Save on a magical Disney Resort stay, _____ family!"

My strategy is to go in and price rooms, packages, etc. for the dates I want (or for any dates if I'm just waiting for a pin to decide.) I select dates, pick a resort, etc. then close the window. A survey pops up and I always click something...usually I click "I don't feel like it is the best offer" or something along those lines. Sometimes I click the other choices. I've noticed that Disney changes the order of these choices! Seems strategic! A few times I typed in the comments box something like "Waiting for Annual Pass rate to see if we can afford the trip", etc.

I've been lucky enough to get 3 pins in the last 8 months so something is working. I've only requested the planning DVD once...but I log in and check my personal info, etc. pretty often.

Ok, I'm off the phone. I was able to add two nights to my Pop reservation and it's still $16 cheaper than my original reservation! If I end up dropping the two extra nights, I save $150 on my original five night reservation. After those five (or seven) nights, we get to stay at BCV for five nights as new DVC members!

This is going to be one heckuva trip!!!!!
