Just got an email for $79.00 one way fares from Air Tran.

It's not as good as that fair of $129.00 that I had through Disney but lost due to the mix up. But it's not too bad.

So I booked it for my flights. Now I'm no longer worrying about SWA.

thanks...I just checked it out and found a $99 fare BOS to MCO and $109 return. Cheaper than everyone else at this point, but we can not get direct flights on Air Tran from Boston...I think I will hold out for SW. I hope I don't regret it

I got same e-mail today, but was only able to get 99.00 one-way. We are flying out of Flint, MI which is easier than Detroit. Also got early morning non-stop flight to Orlando and a non-stop back. I think they only fly one non-stop out of the Flint airport a day. Anyways got six tickets for 1300.00. I was waiting for SW, but heard on the news about airfare going up alot, so decided to bite the bullet and book. I will kick myself if SW comes out with something alot less.

I feel the same way about my decision. SWA was just taking too long and I hope I don't regret this.

I managed to get 3 nonstop tickets last night for $531. I just checked today and those same 3 tickets would be $676. I'm glad I booked it last night. If it had turned out to be $676 I'd still be waiting on SWA.

Same boat here on SWA. I got a group rate (11 of us) with AirTrans flying out of Chicago Midway for 168.00 roundtrip taxes, fees and all. I figure not too bad. It came out to be $1008 for my family of six. My SIL is glad we get seat assignments, she HATES the first come first serve thing at SWA.
