Just got Airtran RT for $149.50 (IND to MCO) in December!

Flying out on a Wed and returning on a Monday...... $75-85 flight legs. I haven't seen these rates for years!

Check your tickets if you have them for credit vouchers if your flight prices have dropped.

How do I go about getting a credit? I should save over $100!

Will it make a difference that I used their pay later option?

AirTran should give you a credit if the rates go down and you can apply these for baggage fees or business class upgrades.

We got flights from ATL to MCO for $45 one way!
$180 for both of us round trip. this is the lowest I have seen ever!

Are you sure they will give credits for the lower fare? Their web site states they will charge $75 a ticket to change the ticket, even if the rate is lower.

Edited to add: When I called her computer automatically took off the booking fee from the credit. She had to have a supervisor take the fee back off. Saved me $92!!! We worth the phone call!!!

So stupid question: How do I go about using this credit to pay for our checked bags?

I have always received credits for fare drops and never had to pay a change fee. You may not be able to use credits online, but curbside and terminal checkin can always see them. Just tell them you want to use your credit.

That's a great fare from Indy! I already have my air booked on Delta from Bloomington, IL for December. Too bad AirTran pulled out of BMI in June. However, for me to fly out of IND requires a 2-hour drive each way and $9/day to park - and my December trip is 18 days long!

To get the credit, I call the general reservation number.

I still can't believe how cheap the flights are.
