Just got a QS Pin - question

Received a QS dining pin in the mail. My question is I used the public room discount and upgraded to a moderate and got the room only discount applied to the room. I purchased the delux dining plan and tickets package, can I still use this pin and apply it to my dining plan.

I had room only and got the QS pin and couldn't use both. So went for the FD.
