Our trip just got better! Southwest sent me 4 drink vouchers in the mail as a promotional "thank you" for being a RR Visa cardholder. :goodvibes A couple of in-flight drinks will be an awesome way to start off our vacation! Thanks SW!

Luv SWA - just this month my outbound flight was canceled and our EBCI $ refunded before I even had a chance to request it! We also got 2 drink vouchers each for our inconvenience. MY cc'd was credited the EBCI fee before I even arrived home front the trip.

Our flight was canceled and not only did SWA make it right but since we arrived at the airport the suggested 2 hours prior we were able to jump on an earlier flight.

OTOH I canceled a fully refundable trip on US Air and had to "fight" for my refund, ok well in their terms I had to request it, request it again and then call customer service to track it down.

Yeah I got these to. SW:thumbsup2

Me and the wife signed up for the promo with 50k points each and got 4 coupons each the other day :)

She doesn't drink.. so looks like I may have quite a few for our disneyland vacation come next fall :D

Crossing my fingers we will get these as well. I'm a nervous flyer anyways, a drink would help calm my nerves, lol.

Good luck sounds like some folks are going to be pretty relaxed:cloud9: Oh yeah.

Oooh - hoping I get a few in the mail, too. I like to have one or 2 to help calm me down.

I got these also! Hoping my husband will get some, too since we both have the SW card.

Question: When you order alcohol, such as rum, etc., do they give you the little bottles? I am just curious because our flight is at 7:45 in the morning. I'm not an early drinker but would love to take the little bottles back to the resort with me. ;)

I can't recall ever having an alcoholic drink on a plane, because I'm too cheap to pay for them. Hoping I can use them later in the week. :rotfl:

The flight attendants usually mix the drinks before they serve them to you, but we usually ask to mix them ourselves and they give us the little bottle and whatever mixer we need. A full little bottle in those little glasses(plastics) is a bit strong, and we can usually get two drinks out of one bottle. Sometimes the bottle is open and sometimes it is not. We have had occasion where after they gave us the bottle(s) they asked that we open them. Not sure if that means they don't want you to take a partial/full bottle with you after landing.

What kind of mixed drinks can you order? I know my DH has ordered bloody marys before, but not sure what else is available?

Just the basics... vodka, gin, Jack Daniels, Canadian Club, scotch, Wild Turkey, rum. All the appropriate mixers are available. Do a search on SWA website for "inflight menu" for all the offerings.

I got them, DH did not, we have separate SW cards........

We don't really drink though, and I take early flights, too.

Maybe I will buy other people drinks with them. ;)

Bailey's on the rocks............my favorite on SW flights! :goodvibes

Thank you for this info! Even if it is open, as long as I have the cap, that will be okay.

That is a great idea! I am sure people would love that!:wizard:

I got those too.:cool1:

And even better is that I received them shortly after I booked the flights for our entire family using points and only having to pay less than $50 for fees:)

Southwest rocks....at least they do for our family......for this trip. Still have more points to use for gift cards.:thumbsup2
