I have 3 boys ages 2, 7, and 9. These have been my experieces:
The Good
you can save some money on clothing with hand-me-downs
Junior won't cry because he doesn't want to ride a pink bike. All toys will be boy-friendly
In general, boys tend to get over things quicker than girls. Let's say a friend doesn't want to play with them, they'll find another friend. End of story. Girls will cry and try to anaylize it
You'll save some time by not having to fix, detangle and braid hair. Boys are basically wash and go
The Bad
They never get tired! Mine don't get tired even after hours at the park
The grocery bill. You'll be buying a lot of food. Get familiar with the term "family size" and kiss the express line goodbye. They eat - a lot!!
