My next day off is Wednesday I think (and thursday). I will work on my room after work (in the 2 hours i will have each night to do it!)

So, when is the bat magic coming out? Anyone know? I thought flying carpet was next but bat seems cooler

Also if you are worried about having enough credits (besides using a mule) do what i do....play yeti episode 2 over and over to get the room then sell it for 100 credits! I have done that many many times and it really helps beef up your bank!

Hold on... we havent even heard if we are in... and we can not connect our rooms yet, because they all need to go in a certain order.... and frankly I am not investing any more room building time for this until we hear one way or the other....

I did hook up with WIldCatKris for a bit, and buddy listed him, which helps... I will be in the SOUTH WEST SOUTH lobby of Pirates until the event starts, (if I am not IN the lobby I am in a game lol)and then I will be "not in any room" mode snagging up carpets! LOL Anyway look for me in pirates if anyone happens to be on so we can link up our friends lists and find each other more easiely! LOL

SO...should we go on as if we are in this or quit now? I'll let you all decideas we are a team. AND even though we may not truly be in this contest, perhaps we can still get together for the next.

OK I will go ahead and admit that I have been so busy with work and life that I have done almost nothing on my room (Laurabearz and Antonius, it looks like it did when you saw it ) I have been away from Dis and vmk for a few days and now I see this...I was probably going to wait until the last minute anyway b/c I am so tired after work I just want to veg in front of the TV, and I have other things to do (like clean the house, run errands, etc.) before work. I hate how real life takes away from vmk time! (I just started working for the first time in a looooong time and discovered vmk when I was unemployed).

So I guess I will wait and see...if we are not even in the running I'm not bothering.....so let me know! If anyone sees a staff member maybe they can check so ask them please!

I am not working on anything (well except the room I showed you guys this evening, I can t help myself, it deserves to be finished!!) until we hear from them.

I think contacting a staff member is a great idea, but my guess is our leader would have to do that... but if I see someone I will ask them.

Sorry everyone, but it has finally been made official. VMK has denied us. I just got the letter. Same basic bull with no real answer as to why we were not in it. I really am sorry bout all this. I'm very disappointed that it took them this long to let us know. It only took a week and four additional letters from me to get a response. SO....sorry to all for this major let down. I know I'm bummed. Our ideas would have wiped out the other teams hands down!

I know I plan on opening up Nightmare Mountain to DISers soon... I worked too hard, and spent way way way too many credits on it for it not to be ridden!

Stinkiness. This is bittersweet for me. I have to admit I am somewhat relieved, because I did not think I would have enough time or credits to make my room, or at least make a cool one. Also now I will MAYBE have enough credits for bat magic.

But I'm mad b/c I know we would have won. I can't imagine any other team coming up with something as cool as our idea. Now no one will ever know...

Maybe they will have another contest For the next ride that comes out....bwhahahahaha. Who knows, maybe another type of ride WILL come out? IT'S A SMALL WORLD! WOO HOO! j/k
