I don't think you'll see a Disney Fantasy, Disney Celebration, or Disney Dream as long as there's a Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Celebration, and a Norwegian Dream.
I don't think you'll see a Chevrolet Mustang as long as there's a Ford Mustang.
Here are some of the cruise ship names that are already taken. I've "
bolded" some of the names that might go well with Disney -- but that Disney is unlikely to use.

Passengers and crew tend to use the short name, not the full name. And how often do people write about the "Magic" rather than the "Disney Magic" on this board?
Would it be a good idea for Carnival to launch the Carnival Magic and the Carnival Wonder? I don't think that will happen either.
Seabourn Cruise Line operates the Seabourn Sun, Seabourn Pride, Spirit and Legend -- not to be confused with the Norwegian Sun, Carnival Pride, Aegean Spirit, or the Legend Of The Seas. (But Seabourn isn't a mainstream, mid-market cruise line like
DCL, NCL, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity.) So there are certainly cases when cruise ships have similar names.
The real question is whether
Disney Cruise Line would want to use a word that's already associated with another cruise line as the name for a new ship. My guess is that they wouldn't.
