Just for fun...If you could live at any DVC property which one would you choose?

Has to be OKW for me, the space in the apartments and the way that when you're away from the parks, it's not 'disney, disney, disney' all of the time, it's got a relaxed Key West sort of feel to it. I love it there.

A grand villa at either SSR or OKW. They are more relaxing resorts, plus you can park close to your room.

Tough call, but probably Villas @ Wilderness Lodge. I love the lobby, and as much as I look forward to staying @ BLT I'm not sure I'd want to LIVE there...

It's a toss-up. BWV for location and action - or OKW for space and quiet. Tough choice.

DisFlan

While we love BWV, I'd pick SSR to live at. Living on a golf course would be a dream for DH and living next to great shopping a dream for me. Plus we love all the lush greenery and walking paths, fountains etc.. Long term stays is where the condo style DVC really comes in handy.

Remember now, 'living there'; there's a whole lot of difference than heading to the Parks everyday. I know I changed my first pick after thinking about it for a while.

Even though OKW is not my favorite resort, I also must agree with several above posters it is the best resort for long term. I think anything longer than two weeks I would stay at OKW simply because of the size, parking, etc. I could also see myself at SSR, but, I don't think SSR has the same type of atmosphere as OKW other than the parking.

As I would have to give up my 2 best friends (pets) It'd have to be a Kidani savanna view 2 bedroom. Nah, forget that, I could never get rid of my pals.

I am tempted to say SSR treehouses though. :goodvibes

OKW for the space, the quiet, the boats to DTD, close to DTD w/o the noise, close to the grocery stores and I love the seperate laundry room in the units.

If I lived there I wouldn't want the hustle of the parks right in my face all the time and the only other option that would allow that is SSR but their rooms are too small to stay there F/T.

Can I pick 2? LOL I am torn -- I am outdoorsy and even though I've never stayed in the Treehouse I'd *LOOOOOOOVE* that but then I adore my BLT too LOL so there you go that's my answer --

When I then want to go on 'vacation' I'd visit AKL for a Safari room ;)

Probably VWL...it would feel so homey & warm. Love the woodsy feel.:thumbsup2

I would pick OKW, it is like the ultimate Disney Condominium, with parking spaces right next to your unit. I would like a dedicated parking spot please.

Has anyone ever cloned OKW as a Florida Condominium Model?

absolutely OKW - then I could vacation at BCV when I wanted a change of pace.

I'm so torn between BWV in a GV or BCV in a two bedroom. While I love BWV I don't know if I could take the long hallways and hustle and bustle forever. The BCV seems like a nice compromise; it's tucked away and quiet. I would also have SAB at my disposal and the things I really like about BWV I could visit i.e. the restaurants and the gardens on the inn side.

Ok So after thinking about this while reading all of your posts...I'm torn between two locations!

I would choose AKL or BCV. Animal Kingdom is an amazing resort, but I wouldn't want to be tucked in too far away from the action forever which is why I'm torn between that and beach Club. I'm the kind of person that needs to be able to get out and about so Beach Club would be perfect. I could do a lot of walking and be around a lot of people all the time lol!! I want to go back sooo bad!!!! :)

Definitely GCV! How cool it would be for my grandkids to say grandpa and grandma "live" in Disneyland/DCA. When we toured the modeled, we even said that if it was offered as a 2 bdrm condo, we would buy it.

Now if I was going to live in Florida, SSR would be our pick.

OKW all the way. It has a very homey feeling and the rooms are huge. A 2 br would be just fine for us. And lots of walking room on the property!

And then we can vacation at our beloved AKV!
