Just for fun...If you could live at any DVC property which one would you choose?

I thought this would be a fun topic. If some magical dream came true and you could live at any DVC property, which one would you choose?

WLV for me. It is my "relaxing" place

Probably OKW because its units are larger and if I actually lived there I would want the extra room

It would be VWL for me too! However, I am so happy that we don't have to choose, because if it were only one, I would be sad not to be able to be at AKV for at least some of the time. Then too, no one wants to hear me whine about our other homes, VB, BCV and BWV!

BWV because the room sizes are just fine, the kitchens are complete the jacquzzi tubs/vanity area and walk in closet are perfect and the location is our very favorite

I read a thread about some retirees that had like 4000 points and they come and spend a few months at OKW in the Winter, WOW. Then there are the empty nesters who don't know what they will do with their DVC when the kids won't go. I'd spend all my points at OKW, in the winter, out on the balcony. What a daydream! I love OKW.

I like AKV too but I can't imagine long periods in the dark decor, and even though I want to try BLT just for the experience of MK view, I can't imagine more than a few days there either. Now SSR would be doable as well.

I'd pick SSR. I'd spend my time playing golf & tennis and relaxing at the pool and of course the pool bar I feel very at home there

If I couldn't get SSR, I'd probably go with OKW. Size of rooms, golf views & Jimmy Buffet on the busses

Love all my HRs (BWV,VWL,OKW and now BLT) but BLT at this moment!!! Just to sit on my balcony every night with my DH watching the fireworks.......my idea of a" night cap"!!!!!

I have only stayed at SSR but I think I could be happy at any of the DVC's but if I had to choose just one it would be BLT.

BWV with BW view:
to wake up every morning to the smell of the BW bakery, view of spaceship earth, sounds of the ferries, and end every evening with a glass of wine while watching illuminations from our balcony is our dream that we only get to do about 3-4 weeks every year.
to live that incredible dream-come-true every day would be more than i could ever imagine tho

Without hesitation, OKW, for the larger rooms, relaxed and removed feel from the crowds even though everything you need is relatively close.

I would have to say AKV. It has the best on-site restaurant choices (IMHO), most room types, and is remote enough that you could live there and still get a little reprieve from all the theme park hustle and bustle.

Tough question! I would choose either OKW or VWL. Whenever we stay at OKW we always talk about how we could happily spend the entire winter there because the villas are so spacious and the entire resort is so peaceful and relaxing.

But VWL is so cozy and we feel so at home there that even though the villas are smaller than those at OKW, I think we would be happy spending a few months of the year there too.

I love our Boardwalk home but if I was to move in and live there I would pick OKW. Plenty of room and parking right outside our villa.

I think I'd actually have to go with OKW!

Never stayed there, but from pics and other media I've seen I think it carries more of a community feel compared to the resort/hotel feel of the rest of the DVC's. Could not choose VB or HHI (not trying to hurt feelings), b/c I'd have to live at WDW!!!
