Just for fun - best and worst meal you had at WDW

Don't sweat that! You will without a doubt find amazing meals that will be unique to your vacation experience. We have amazing restaurants here in Nashville as well, but we still find meals that surpass anything we've had here at home!

I've only been on layover for a day but I'm dying to go back. It's one of the places I'd live when NOLA finally sinks into the Gulf

My two favorites were Via Napoli and Sanaa!

Worst was at this little place in Fantasyland where we got this "fancy" mac and cheese and it was just plain gross! I can't even think of the name of the place.

This has been a lot of fun to read! Our April trip will have more signature restaurants, so looking forward to trying some new places!

So far:
Best TS - hm... we've had a lot of solidly good restaurants, but California Grill on our first night and first time staying at the Contemporary, for a kid who grew up in the 70s dreaming of staying in monorail hotel was memorable for the overall experience. They were so nice to our almost 3yo daughter, it was such a treat to enjoy a good meal and not feel odd bringing a small (well-behaved) child along.
Flying Fish Cafe was also lovely.

Best QS - Columbia harbour house's hummus sandwich and sunshine seasons.

Worst TS - Chef Mickey's breakfast - mediocre food, decent character interaction but the whole scene was rather loud. The food at Restaurant Marrakesh was unimpressive. But service was wonderful (we'd been caught in a rainstorm and were freezing, and they gave is napkins and cloths to dry off and use as blankets!) and DD enjoyed the belly dancing. But neither of them was memorably "bad," just lackluster food.

Worst QS - Probably the place in tomorrowland Cosmic Rays?- it was really chaotic and crowded and hard to find a table. Rookie mistake, as now I'd rather walk across the park and go to CHH.

Best: tie between Via Napoli pizza and Yak/Yeti Kobe Burger
I also loved the Major Domo's pot pie at CRT lunch back in 2002, but they no longer serve it.

Worst: tie between BOG ham sandwich, Beaches N Cream Burger, and Sci Fi Burger - all three almost inedible -a few bites was all I could take -but in all fairness the BC and Sci Fi Burgers were over ten years ago, so not sure what they're like now... not taking any chances to find out though,

Best meal for me is actually a toss-up between Narcoossee's and Shutters, of all places. Narcoossee's probably edges this one out.

Worst meal would be Mama Melrose.

We really enjoyed our meal there. If you get to sit in the booth, it is like you have the characters all to yourself! The food was super yummy!

I've only been to Disney World once (looking forward to returning).

For our family, we all liked 1900 Park Fair. We have decided to do that again. The character interaction was great. We all loved the food.

We liked Akershus, but more for the princess interaction and atmosphere than the food.
BOG lunch was good.

I didn't care for Columbia Harbor House. But ill try it again. Maybe it was just the once.

I didn't like Wolfgang puck at DS at all.

Best: Hollywood Brown Derby--I went with my brother for lunch in the fall of 2012. Food was excellent, service impeccable, ambiance was great. We both agreed it was the best meal we had at Disney.
--Honorable mention to Sanaa (Dinner in Feb. 2016) and Raglan Road (been multiple times)

Worst: I've never had anything truly terrible. There are a few that I'm just not impressed with and probably won't return--Whispering Canyon, Yak and Yeti, 50's prime time...With Whispering Canyon and 50's, I actually want MORE of the Shtick and found we were just receiving general (nice and polite, but no "antics" ) service.

Best is a tie between California Grill and Raglan Road-both totally different experiences but equally delicious!

Worst hands down is the QS at the China Pavillon. So tasteless and greasy!!

Full disclosure: Never eaten at Chef Mickey's. Never wanted to.

Worst of any trip was Via Napoli. The oil on the pizzas was rancid. They do have liquor there but they will only make the drinks on the menu. Drinks that are sweet and fruity with a hinto of alcohol. Our server literally did not understand the word "cocktail". Best was Narcoossee's, where my Wife was able to speak with the chef and get a completely intact whole lobster.

Best: a tie between 1900 PF breakfast and Rose & Crown lunch (and maybe Via Napoli too)

Worst: Chef Mickey's dinner (went in with low expectations- but for DS's bday-his choice....didn't think it could get worse than our low expectations but school cafeteria food is better than the food they served there) and a close second would be Cape May seafood buffet-- I hate seafood but went for DH and DS who both said after the meal that they didn't think the seafood tasted that good there.

best was BOG - both my steak and her shrimp / scallop dish were excellent. Good wine & great service
worst was O'hana - crowded, noisy ( which we expected ) but food was medicore at best. Slow service & pricey for quality of food.

Best-- tasting menu at Bluezoo. We've done it a few times and it's always excellent-- the best service ever. Worst- probably Coral Reef. My lobster ravioli tasted like a bathroom air freshener smells
