Good morning to all,

I was signed up to do my GAD at a Goodwill in Missouri City Texas on Saturday. Our job was to take the donated clothing and sort it from 4'x6' tubs into shirts, dresses, and pants. If it was bad, torn, dirty, it went into big trash bags, that goodwill would load into a 18 wheeler and take somewhere else. The good stuff was to be sold.

Now here is my issue, and made me really think about what I give to charity as well.

Who in their right mind needs to donate soiled undergarments, oil stained pants and shirts, clothes with dog hair and urine?:scared1:

This was clearly a nasty job, and though the thought is good in peoples mind, why would they need to do this?

All in all we had 10 people volunteering their time, and it wa a very fulfilling opportunity, that I will do on my own time again.

On the better side, Goodwill got some really expensive and nice clothing to sell....lol. People were donating clothes that were name brand with the tags still on.

I just thought I would share, and hope evryone has a great day!!:goodvibes
