I was determined to finish at least one tonight. Finally did so after three tries. Used Avery dark shirt paper for a black shirt. Only thing is, it looks like it burned in places. Did I have my iron too hot or do you think I did something else wrong? Help!!! The first time is so frustrating! I am sure it will get easier as I learn all the tricks--right??!!

your iron is probably just too hot. You also have to keep the iron moving. You can't just hold it down on one spot.

I agree. My instructions said to hold the iron at the hottest setting for 20seconds. The first one burned. I figured out that about 5 seconds worked well and after I had done the whole design then I did the edges again.
