I have seen your avitars on many posts. Congrats to you all. I am a WW member, WI on Monday evening. May sound niave, but how does pasta and cheese (Not together) effect your weight on WI day or the day before. I know you shouldn't eat beef w/i 2 days of WI, been told by my leader, but what about pasta and what about cheese? Anyone know?

Welcome to WISH! I dont' not eat anything certain right before WI. I also WI on Monday nights. I have never heard of not eating beef 2 days prior to WI. What does your leader say it does?
I have never heard about cheese and pasta prior. I basically eat anything I want on WW"s. I would watch my salt prior.

I do only drink 2 cups of water in the morning, and drink the rest of my water in the evening. I dont' eat prior to WI, but you could easily do this because it evens out in the long run. I try to eat an early lunch, so my lunch will have digested quicker, and if I eat a snack I do it early. These are silly things of course, because in the long run you will still loose the same amount of weight. It's just nice seeing a nice loss each week. I also wear the lightest clothes I can. Darn it it's cold tonight, so I won't be able to wear a light t-shirt and shorts.

Are you going to take the WISH challenge??

Hi, Melanie. Thanks for the welcome.
I will ask tonight specifically what beef does. I know she said it takes upto 2 days for your system to digest and clear the beef and you will see an increase in weight during those days. I just stay clear of beef after friday night.
I don't know about the Wish Challenge. Could you fill me in?

I'm on Atkins so I'm not much help with the pasta question. Macaroni and cheese used to be my comfort food. I loved it. Funny thing is, when I used to eat it I got a horrible bloated feeling. Not sure how it affected my weight.
