I am just wondering what kind of price quotes ppl from Canada have gotten to travel to disney. I am finding the price quotes from local travel agencies are really high compared to either bookign through disney themeselves or through a disney speicalist travel agency.
What about everyone else?

We did the "Disney at par" deal. From what I've seen it's a great deal.

Same here. The few travel agents we tried had awful flights. Its hard to find good flights from the east coast - you either go through Toronot or on US airlines through Boston and seem to bump around. Just curious, we booked through Disney for rooms and tickets and did our own flights.
Where did you get the at 'par' deal? Are you staying at WDW? :sunny:

We booked direct through Disney using a room only code(found here on the Dis) in October. Then we booked MYW tickets also through Disney. For Airlines we checked on the web for the cheapest flights and decided to fly through Buffalo. This was the best deal for us.

We booked a MYW package through our TA and it works out to be the same price as booking with WDW ourselves. This was an onsite resort, 10 day hopper passes and transport. (we opted out of express tho) :flower:

Diane: Have you considered Dreams unlimited? I can't vouch for them since we haven't used their services yet but have read TONS about them. They sound like TRUE disney specialists. I think that their web site is www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com. We are considering using them for our next WDW adventure since it will involve at least 11 nights on site plus PS's. I don't know if they can book air fare though. Check out their web site and see what you think. They offer free on-line quotes as well.

Our first WDW holiday was only 5 nights on-site and one PS so I booked direct with CRO at WDW but think I will let an expert handle it next time.

We got the "at par" through our TA but had heard or read about it online somewhere. It's worked out really well. As for the flight, flying out of Ottaw would have been close to $1000/person!!! :earseek: We booked flights out of Syracuse, NY and it's only about 1400 for all of us!!! I flew out of Syracuse last fall too. It's cheaper and a smaller airport to deal with. We do have to transfer at Atlanta, but that's not a major issue.

We're heading for POR. :bounce:
