Okay, silly question, but did anyone ever look at their contract and notice which unit they have their interest in? In reading mine I noticed it said my unit is unit #1A. Silly but I wonder if they actually number the units for these purposes or is #1A just a hypothetical unit #.

I also purchased I think the first day SSR went on sale so maybe I do "own" an interest in unit 1A.

They do actually number the units and keep track of them (this is the basis for the point system and allocation among different vacation homes). Particular units are associated with particular use years.

Remember a unit IS NOT a single room, it's a group of rooms.

I see...so "unit" actually refers to a group. It would be interesting to know how many "units" are in each resort and if each unit number actually refers to specific rooms/groups of rooms or is more of a hypothetical or virtual unit. Interesting.

I have the SSR paperwork handy,I own an undivided 0.6841% interest in unit 1F of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort.

And the ownership interest obviously is tied into the # of points you own. I would really like to know where my "unit" is.

At OKW it's a building, I think it's the same at HH. At the more hotel style resorts it's a group of rooms and it does refer to a specific group though it makes no difference other than voting rights and symbolic in number of points. VB initially was an entire floor initially but since they have to declare the entire unit into inventory BEFORE they can sell it.
