When Disney takes a contract by ROFR, can they change the use year? I know I've read they can break it down....take a 500 pt contract and make it 5 100 pointers or whatever, but what about UY?

They cannot change the UY.

No. The points are assigned to specific units and the units are assigned UYs.

Now I imagine if DVC happened to reassume ownership of every point in the unit they could change the UY but that would never happen via the ROFR process which only reaquires a small portion of points in a unit, it would only be on the closing of a resort.
