Just curious where I stayed in 1973

sgtdisney - You are correct. Golf Resort became Disney Inn. But I think Sleepy, the dwarf, may have been on the logo. That's probably what I was thinking of.

Stacey - I remember Circus World, too. And I remember that after that closed, it reopened as Boardwalk and Baseball. I think one of the major league teams did spring training there. If I'm not mistaken, those parks were at the site where Splendid China is now. Is that correct? Does anyone know?

I had forgotten all about boardwalk and baseball, that didn't last long, did it? There was a team that did spring training there, I have no idea who, my brain is saying atlanta or baltimore but I have been wrong before :)

I have also stayed at days suites a number of times, its not the same as it once was :(

As I recall we stayed there in 1974. Cost for four days/three nights was $125 per adult double occupancy INCLUDING airfare from Phila. transfers to/from the airport and a book (yes a book) of tickets each for Magic Kingdom including E tickets!

Ya think 1 night at the Grosvenor can be had for that price today? ;)
