Just curious about care packages....

Does anyone have any ideas on how long it's taking packages to arrive to the soldiers? When my husband dropped our package off, the postal clerk said it would take a looooong time due to the amount of packages being sent over (good to hear people are taking care of our soldiers) and that veterans group in our town just dropped off a bunch of boxes to send over that cost over $1,200.00 in shipping costs alone!

My first package took 2 1/2 weeks to arrive.

It all depends on each military installation. I do have one customer whose packages originally took a month to arrive, but now are taking only about 11 days, and that's sending them Standard Mail.

We did ours through the USO. Theirs get there much faster.
