Just canceled our Feb trip for anyone looking for one.......:(

I feel like we are just not meant to go to Disney lol. We were supposed to have already been there and had to cancel due to DH new promotion which yes is great, but if I want to act like a child and stomp my feet is awful. Then I said okay well we will book it for Feb 7-15 and go then.... Well we did and then I got a bill from Medtronic for my pump supplies and now all of a sudden our insurance changed and I went from never paying anything to now I will be responsible for 70% which is 375.00 every two months. Well they decided that they are going back to the beginning of the year and charge me for all of it. So needless to say I needed what we had paid back so I can now pay this bill. On the plus note we booked a three night trip to Cape May, Nj. It will be our first time in the pop up. Looks like we will be waiting till Sept or Oct of next year. I don't know how I will make it but I will just have to!

I know that stinks. I had to cancel our trip for this past Feb due to being laid off. It was for our daughter's 6th birthday. But things are looking up and we're going at Christmas this year. Have patience and it will all work out. Hang in there!

Sorry to here that you have to cancel, your not the only one. We have decided to cancel our Oct. trip AND our March trip to stay home and build a new 2 story addition. I have to call and cancel ressies later in the day and figure out what to do with 4 MNSSH party tickets. It is really depressing but, I think we will get through also.

I hate this for both of you and anyone else who has made a ressie, looked forward to it, then had to cancel. I cancelled a Christmas 2012 week trip a while ago (you know how far in advance you have to book those too) so I know the disappointment. But WDW is a luxury and sometimes the real world raises its head - the real world comes first.

My suggestion is to make a ressie sometime WAY out there (maybe late 2014) to give you something to look forward to. You can roll over your one night deposit (may have to pay the diff LOL). Take care of your life at home, live vicariously through whichever DISser is at the Fort currently, and chime in on the board. It will help you feel connected still.

Enjoy your campouts close to home too. Those are just as special.
