Just came back from the book store.....should of taken out a loan

I got the new book by Douglas Preston and Lincoln child.....Cabinet of Curiosities.....and it came to 27 dollars....almost croaked.....but these books are worth it.....I love the Relic and also the Reliquary....and Mt. Dragon too.....and the others are good too.....will start reading in a while.......

I can never go into a bookstore without spending a small fortune. I know exactly how you feel

Now they have a Starbucks shop in our Barnes and Nobles so I even have more to spend on while I am there...Yikes!!!

drinking starbucks and sitting in b&n thumbing through books... one of my favorite pasttimes.

i'm not big on buying books other than journal-types (running out of shelf space), but i keep meaning to get a library card.

I can't go into our local B & N or Boarders with a CC in my pocketbook because B & N has:

1.) A Travel Section - Queen of the Armchair Travelers here
2.) A Bargain Book Section - need I say more
3.) Magazine racks galore - more opportunities to travel
4.) A Starbucks
5.) A Godiva Chocolate section!!!! The best chocolate covered strawberries!!

And Boarders has:

1.) Travel Section
2.) Bargain Section
3.) Magazine Racks
4.) The best little cafe with the best lattes
5.) Live folk music Firdays, Saturdays and Sundays!

I'd be financially ruined!!
