I just phoned the travel agents about adding an extra day to our holiday as most of you will know that we are booked to go to DLP on

Monday 10th Nov - Friday 14th Nov 2008

Which is the Christmas season and i was worried that because we had booked during the week we would miss the ''Xmas Winnie the Pooh Show'' AND ''Disney's Fantillusion Parade'' as last year they were only shown at weekends during November time.

So the travel agents said they will call back to let me know how much it will cost for the extra day.....
I hope it wont be too much though!

What would you say is a reasonable price for 1 extra night at the Dream Castle Hotel and 1 extra day for the park???
For 2 adults, & a toddler
(she will still be 2yrs old at that time, although her 3rd Birthday is very close but she dosnt get charged as a child until she is 3yrs hehehehe!)

The other thing they may take into account is travelling back on a different day. I dont know how you're travelling but sometimes travelling at weekends is more expensive

We will be travelling by Eurostar....

They havnt called back yet, but hopefully i should know sometime this week.
I hope its not going to cost too much :confused3

If its going to cost the earth i was going to ask them if it is possible to instead of travelling on the Monday 10th - Fri 14th to swap and go Tuesday 11th instead and return saturday the 15th.....

Not sure if they will do that or not!

I wish i had known about these weekend shows before i booked, i didnt even know of this forum before i booked :sad2:
But never mind! Who knows if i cant swap the days or add an extra day then i will keep my fingers crossed that DLP will do things different this year and put the parade and show on during the week aswell as the weekend :confused3

Who knows they might do that seeing that it is a VERY busy year for them this year!!!
Apparently DLP is going to be extremely busy this Xmas and most of hotels are booked up!

most of the hotels booked up already?
I didnt think the dates for Christmas season had been released yet, i didnt know you could already book them.

Thats what the Travel Agents i booked up with said....
I booked with Thomas Cook Direct....
They said its very busy Christmas time this year :confused3
When i booked up with them i didnt have a huge choice of hotels :sad2:
So i chose Dream Castle Hotel and they only had 2 family rooms left :confused3
Seqoiur Lodge was fully booked and HNY was not alot left but was quite expensive....
Thats why i kind of rushed and booked as i was worried i might not get anything.

If thats the case i mite go at the end of Christmas season in January instead.
Oh i dont know :rotfl:

I am sure the 11th November is a french public holiday so i would imagine (and have heard in the past it is) extreeeemely busy in the park. I must say I dont envy anyone going on that date!

good job i told you about it ,you are making good use of it :) :goodvibes

Sarah I wouldn't get too despondent if you can't change your dates.
The Winnie the Pooh show is good but it's not in the same league as Mickey's Winter Wonderland or the Lion King which should be showing.

Fantillusion is a wonderful parade, probably my favourite, but it's there every year and it's always good to have another reason to plan a next trip.

I hope everything works out for you, but I think you'll have more than enough to keep you occupied during your stay, either way. :goodvibes

I agree and if you can't get your trip amended then, as Jill said, it's a good reason to go back again!! ;)
