Well, I sure didn't know what in the world to say to this guy today when he came to my desk to check out from his appointment.
I'm the one who collects the copays, so I hear a lot of griping and moaning everyday. Well, this one was a new one. A grungy/burly guy comes up to me and annouces very loudly, "WELL! You must be the girl who takes the money....just like a woman wanting money, hands out and legs up in the air!"
What in the....???????
Of course, the nurses are just laughing away behind me, but oh my GOSH! I was literally without words. Everyone was shocked when he left!
Sigh...I really get the weird ones in my office...

Hrrr. It's fun to look those guys in the eye and make their next appointment
!! I can't believe your employer allows his staff to put up with that kind of potty talk from clients while other nurses laugh?!?! What's wrong with this world??? Sorry, as a female I find it totally unacceptable and would definitely demand more respect at the work place. This male patient was way out of line and needed to be held accountable. Afterall, isn't this exactally what most ladies are fighting for sweetie?!?!
