I just bought my daughter, who is now 4 months old, her 12 mo old formal dress for our cruise in 2006. Talbots is having their semi annual sale and it seemed like a good idea to pick up a summer dress now for next year. (I won't even mention the rest of the clothes I just picked up all with the cruise next year in mind).

What have you all done that really shows what a sickness we all have with our obsession planning these cruises?

Yes, I'm a planner (big-time) when it comes to clothes for cruising!

I must have bought DD's a my 'cruise wardrobe' six mos. before we sailed. (There were a few return trips to the stores whenver I found something I liked better.)

That, and matching up shoes (a whole entire other thread in itself) with clothes is the biggest part of my planning. :teeth:

Very cute.

I have my eye out for my "will be seven year old" for a formal, but I've been caught in the past when they've grown too fast or not fast enough. So we will wait.

I don't think that is sick at all. :) I have always bought clothes for the kids the at the end of the season for the next year...even before they were born or we knew what we were having. :) LOL! DD is now wearing 2-3Ts but there are bags in her closet full of clothes up thru 7/8. She is probably set for up to 6x to be honest. DS has up to 11/12 and he is in a 7/8 now. It is so nice when they outgrow a size towards the end of the season when there is hardly anything to choose from in the stores and all I have to do is open up a bag and take out an entire wardrobe.
