Just bought air tickets to Tampa

Just got tickets into Tampa for $44 each way!!!!! Tampa is the featured destination for SW right now. The downside to this is getting Transportation from the airport to POR. Can anyone give me choices? I would rather not rent a car for the entire stay Thursday until the next Saturday (10 days) unless I could get a great deal. Is there a car rental place somewhere like DTD or isn't there one around the boardwalk area that I could rent one from the airport to our place then drop it off then do the same going back? Or is there a limo/bus service that anyone has used from Tampa? Thanks

You can rent a car at TPA thru National or Alamo, drive to WDW and drop it the next day at either the CCC or the Dolphin OR do a weekend rate (Thu - Sun or Mon) using a coupon for a free weekend day (I know BJs & Ent. book have them) and return the car to either place. I use the Dolphin as I find it's the easiest - just drop it off, then I head to Epcot or MGM.

You're lucky. The fares are still high for me to Tampa at $109. The deals from the NE just aren't very good lately...but I can wait.......

You can rent a return car from National or Alamo at the Dolphin. Either call them to set it up, or go online - this can be cheaper since there are codes and coupons out there.
