Just booked......

Hi everyone,

Very excited so just wanted to share - we have just booked to return in 2013 (August). Have been thinking about it for a while but had to wait for holidays to be approved at work. Today my manager said I could book so got straight onto it!

We will be traveling with good friends and their 2 boys. We will all be staying at the Beach Club and we think we got a good deal with Virgin on the dates that we wanted to travel. We cannot be flexible therefore cannot afford to wait for flights so decided to bite the bullet and go for it .

Our friends have never been before so we cannot wait to share the magic with them. Looking forward to the planning - hope to get some good tips from all you regulars

Have managed to update my ticker.... All I need to do now is try and keep it a secret from the kids for a while. We are going to try and come up with a plan on how to tell them....

Read these boards daily but don't comment much - looking forward to getting more involved over the next 12 months.....

Certainly is a great feeling (I would quote you but am afraid I have not worked out how to do that!)

For anyone else that is out there and cannot be flexible on dates we were going to book a fly drive with Virgin and then book direct with WDTC (it was cheaper than Complete Orlando) but when I called Virgin to book the guy on the phone offered to price match our holiday so we now have a Virgin package for the same price as the fly drive and accommodation. I know that we could have done it cheaper if we were prepared to fly indirect etc but as we are going with friends and we have 5 children between us we wanted the security of knowing it was all sorted. Would definitely recommend asking about price match if looking to do a fly drive as a cheaper alternative to a package.

Am so relieved now that we have the flights booked. We just need to book accommodation for the 6 nights after our cruise but will wait until closer to the time to do that.

Congratulations to you too! We booked with Virgin as we are FVC members and the extra 10% meant the price was better than any others I had found. It certainly pays to shop around. Hope you enjoy your cruise

If you dont mind me asking how much was your flydrive? Im looking at them next year as we too are fvc members as well as flying club members but looking at a way to just pay deposit for next year
