Just booked our WDW Honeymoon -- Lots of Questions!

Hi Girls!
We are not getting married at WDW, but we are honeymooning there Aug 15-20 at the Polynesian with free dining! DFi hasn't been to WDW since he was 4 years old, so I want things to be really awesome for him.

So far we have ADR's at Kona Cafe, CRT Dinner, Mama Melrose and Le Cellier. Does anyone have any recommendations for romantic restaurants we should try? Also, does CRT still give honeymoons the champagne glasses and decorate the table?

I remember seeing someone's pictures on here and they are wearing bride and groom minnie and mickey t-shirts. Does anyone know where I can order these from? I looked at Disney Direct and found the Cinderella and Prince Charming ones, but not the wedding Minnie and Mickey.

Can I arrange for the bride and groom ears, some wine or champagne and glasses to be in our room when we arrive? I looked at the Disney Florist website, but they didn't have the ears available. Any suggestions on how I couldgo about this?

For our breakfast reservation at CRT we did get the flutes. Nice gesture!

We had the t-shirts made by Disney Direct. Not sure if they still do mickey or not.

I'm sure if you call Disney Florist, they will be able to arrange for the ears. I'd e-mail or call them.

i have questions too!! we haven't decided where we want to stay for our late honeymoon. we want a moderate hotel at wdw, any sugestions?? i really want the ears to wear... i am soo looking foward to this! dh hasn't been since he was 8, i would die! please help us if you have any other tips for honeymooners! thanx bunches!!!

i bought these shirts from disneydirect.com

as for romantic restaurants, we like le bistro de paris at epcot ws, california grill at the contemporary, jiko at akl & artist point at wl, also you wont be disappointed with le cellier the food is superb. & yes we did get glass flutes from crt on our wedding trip.

as for items in your room, you can order the ears through disney merchandising & have delivered to your resort for your arrival, as for food like wine call guest services at the poly. happy disneymoon!

I'm having my honeymoon in August at WDW as well!!! I've heard that Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge is a very romantic place for honeymooners to eat!! I'm really excited for that ADR! We are also doing Yachtsman Steakhouse, LeCellier, Kona Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe, and Crystal Palace! I'm so excited for the honeymoon!! I got my bridal minnie ears (the hat not the headband) at mouseshoppe.com, but it seems they are out of that right now...but keep checking back!

My FI and I are also going to Disney for our honeymoon in June 2007. We already have our room booked at the Grand Floridian. The 2007 rates won't come out until around July so we can't really book anything else right now. We are going to do the all inclusive dining plan which includes tickets to Cirque du Soliel. I know that we will have to make a list of places we want to eat so that we can make reservations.

Actually Disney Direct does have the wedding Mickey and Minnie t-shirts...I just ordered them. I had that it was our honeymoon, names, and date on the shirt...I cannot wait to get them! As far as the ears, look on ebay...they are a little pricey, but if you want them before you go you will find luck there. Or like mentioned above, call disney merchandising, they might be able to get you the ears and place them in your room or mail them to you. It was suggested in another thread that if you want the mickey groom hat to not buy them before you go if heading down there by plane...they will get smashed. Also, do not forget to get the honeymoon or wedding pins from guest services in each of the parks....don't want to miss out on any extra magic
