Just booked my first trip home! But....

my home, BCV, wasn't available in a studio or 1BR. We've got a 1BR perferred at BWV though as I'm on the waitlist for BCV. I'm booking on rather short notice, June 22 - 26, so I'm not surprised. I'll be happy either way, but I would've liked to stay at my home resort on my first trip with DVC. Maybe the BCV waitlist will come through for me. MS CM was very nice.

Hey at least you are close - you could be at VWL or OKW.

But yes give the wait list time - are you on the daily wait list or your whole time - I would be on the daily list - then if any days comes up you get them. The other way your entire request must be available.

Hey at least you'll be near where you want to be.
Our first (and to date only) experience using our points we got stuck at PO/FQ. It was the only place available at a 22hr notice over Thanksgiving wknd for 8 consecutive nights when our cruise got cancelled.

Have a good trip. Someday we hope to make it "home" to the Wilderness Lodge.
