Nov 10th out of NYC on the Magic. My sister and my niece will be joining us, their first!

I am beyond excited that I will get to witness my sister's and niece's first DC. She said it is "one and done." and I say "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

Question..my daughter is a gold castaway member, They placed her in my sister's stateroom, and made her the main guest on the reservation (she will be 20 when we cruise). He did this so my sister will have the 105 day booking window. Will they get a return castaway gift? The CM didn't think so because my sister has a different address than my daughter. But if my daughter is a gold member and is the main guest on the reservation, why wouldn't she get a gift? He is saying because I will have a gift in my stateroom, and it goes one gift per household.

I would think if you book more than one stateroom and have a gold member in each stateroom you'd get a gift per stateroom. If you have 3 gold members in one stateroom, only one gift. But if you're shelling out for a whole other stateroom for your party, pretty chintzy to only give one gift to multiple staterooms because people are related.

I wonder if the cast member was confusing stateroom gifts with the art cards that are (sometimes) mailed to Castaway Club members after the cruise.

I have always heard that stateroom gifts for returning guests are one per stateroom, with the type determined by the highest Castaway Club membership level in the room. I don’t have personal experience, though, sine I have never traveled with a CC member in a different room.

It should be one gift per stateroom. It shouldn't matter if your daughter is the main guest on the reservation. According the the Castaway Club page:

Welcome Back Aboard Gift
Be welcomed back with a special gift unique to your membership level.
(One gift per stateroom based on highest Castaway Club tier in stateroom)
