Marriott's Grande Vista is currently ranked as one of TUG's 1999 "Top Ten" timeshare resorts worldwide. (And, of course, one of the top ten in Florida.) The resort was also ranked as one of TUG's "Top Ten" worldwide in 1998.
As far as user rankings - the Marriot properties rate at almost the same level as the Disney Vacation Club properties. As a DVC owner, that means it must be a pretty nice place to lay ones head.
BTW, we will be at one of Marriots sister properties - Cypress Harbour - in two weeks. Like you, we took advantage of a promo that Marriot had on their website - 2 bedroom/ 4 nights for $798 with two tickets for the Dolphin Swim at Discovery Cove included in the price. I was one happy camper when I booked that reservation.
I'm sure you will enjoy your stay - that's a great price for a great resort.
