Just book La Nouba on a whim, It cost me an arm and both legs so it had better be as good as everyone says! DF doesnt know yet, the 'circus' isnt his thing so I plan on telling him when he's drunk!

Well enjoy the show

Jodie ~ I'm not a 'circus' person either and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Make sure you go for a nice meal before or after the show and then go to Pleasure Island. Well worth both arms and legs IMO ;)

I really enjoyed this show, unfortunatly chris didnt. But its well worth the money for the experiance

I thought it was the best show I have ever seen...you eyes are constantly seeing something new. My partner loved it too. The kids unfortunately didn't really get it aged 8 and 6. I think they just did not appreciate the skill involved but I would go back again if I could.

My wife, sister in law and eldest daughter saw it on June 6th and they thouroughly enjoyed it and thought it was fantastic. It doesnt do anything for me though, I volunteered to look after my 3 year old while they were there.

Excellent idea! I might even let Gavin pick the venue, been the nice girl I am!

I would love to go Jodie - but with 4 of us, we would have to remortgage to be able to afford it this time. Maybe in February...

It's the least you can do ;)

Personally, I'd pay an arm and a leg to not go, but that's just me! I'd be with Tron looking after the kids ...

I was not sure how I would feel about the show but I received free tickets so we went.

It was the bomb we loved it and can not wait to get to go again.

We've done it the past 2 years and DS is asking if we are doing it again this year.

Class act and way above any other circus I've seen.

Enjoy the show.

We have been to watch this show for the last two years but my dh does not fancy it at all. Last year there was quite a large party of us (17) so the dads took the smallest children to the pictures at dtd.

There have been several Disney experiences which, thanks to hype on these boards, have fallen way below my expectations. Cirque du Soleil, Fantasmic and Beaches and Cream all spring to mind. I'd like to think I've learnt my lesson and try to keep my expectations low these days.

It's several years since we saw La Nouba, so maybe it's time to give it another shot. Parts of it are very clever.

I think you will love it. We certainly do. Nothing can compare with the artistic detailing and beautiful presentation of Cirque du Soleil performances. We've seen three or four now, and loved each of them. Well worth the money - you will have a wonderful evening!

I'm sure you will have an unforgettable evening Jodie :sunny:

We saw it a couple of years ago and thought it was brilliant.

Infact I might try and get some of the DVC reduced price tickets for this year. :scratchin:

Been a coward, rather than tell Gavin in a grown-up manner I told him to read this thread! :lmao:

He accepted our change of schedule gracefully if unenthusiasticly :teeth:

Hmm. You've given me an idea. Maybe I should communicate all potentially unsavory prospects to dh via the DIS! :lmao:
