Hi daniluvsdisney,

I haven't stayed in a suite, but I have stayed at the Hojo and think it's great.

Anyway check out what I wrote you on your other thread about getting a web rate to save a little money.

Good Luck. :earsgirl:

did you stay in a theme pak view room? Did you have a balcony? If so were there chairs so you could sit out and enjoy it?

I have not stayed in a suite at the HoJo but have stayed in a regular room many times. They only have two suites. The King Suite is in building 1 with a themepark view. The 2queen suite is in building 2 and does not have a theme park view. I have had a room a few times in building one with a theme park view. There are pine trees in front of bulding one so you have a somewhat opbstructed view and you can mostly see the Matterhorn and the top of the Autopia building and the monorail going by. But you get a great view of the fireworks. There is no furniture on the balcony but I always take my chair form the table, out and have a seat.

I did stay in a theme park view room which was located in the tower building on the top floor. I think that the tower building has about 7 floors and the rest of the buildings on the property have 3 or 4 floors. We had an upgraded guest room, so it had vaulted ceilings and skylights. If you have a premium park view room, you probably will be in the tower building on an upper floor.

The view of the park is a little obscured by trees, but you can see the Matterhorn and several attractions from Tomorrowland, the Disneyland Railroad goes by, and you have a terrific view of the monorail when it goes by. You should also have a nice view of the fireworks, but when we were there last March during spring break, there wasn't any fireworks and we were bummed (sigh). We also had a nice view of the main pool area.

Our room did have a balcony (I think most of the rooms there have one), and it was good sized for a hotel balcony, but it didn't have any chairs. I don't recall seeing any of the balconies with chairs. You may want to call the Hojo and ask about chairs for the balconies (do they have them?). It definately would be nice to be able to sit out on the balcony.

Overall, you should expect a terrific stay. If you have any more questions, I'm always happy to help.

Have a terrific time!

Thank you very kindly for the input. I am wondering if we would have been just as well off to have kept a premium park view with a balcony. I wonder if you get the daily snacks in a suite like in the home office rooms. We'll be happy no matter! How nice everyone has been to share tips and info.:sunny:
