just booked 3 nights at kidani

in a studio. Doing 2 weeks at okw with kids then a cruise and just decided to add 3 day without kids at Kidani in a studio. Any special requests we should make regarding views. We have a savannah view booked but should we narrow it down even more? Also we wont have a car so how is the bus system? Is it an easy walk to AKL? We wont have any passes for these 3 days, so any suggestions of what to do? We're early 50's, semi-retired and we'll be there the end of January!!!!.

Thanks for any and alll suggestions. Havent been "home" in about 2 years and cant wait.

Request 2nd or 3rd floor near the lobby. You will be very near the animals. There are many resort things to do at AKV, some at Kidani, some at Jambo which is easy to get to. You will have the use of both pools, and don't forget the steam rooms over at Jambo. I think you will have a great time --DH and I are a little older than you and love Kidani.

Just returned from first AKV Kidani stay three weeks ago. We loved it so much that we did an add-on our last day. Bus stop is close to the lobby, and lobby is close to the restaurant, pool, etc. All park buses pick up at Kidani first, so that you can get on and then get off at AKL Jambo when the buses stop there to pick up park passengers. The only bus traveling to Kidani from Jambo is the DTD bus. We walked most of the time rather than wait at the bus stop. Took us less than 10 minutes to walk, and it was a little exercise.

We were in a SV studio as well and loved it. Definitely request to be close to the lobby and on the second or third floor as pp said. Being near the lobby gets you close to everything and not being too high gives you a better view of the animals. It was one of our best vacations ever!
